Alexandre Herchcovitch smiling skulls

Alexandre Herchcovitch’s male representation on SPFW was inspired by chess and the film The Seventh Seal, the hairless models looked like The Nightmare Before Christmas cartoon thanks to the makeup from Celso Kamura.
The progression of the runway imitates the progression of the movie from the fog present throughout the movie represented in this collection by layers of transparencies including a final one in what appears to be tulle that seems to float around the models to the rise of Death showing superiority with big zippers, applications of fur and more volume.
This collection was impressive to my eyes, very well executed and fun yes fun because even though the inspiration was dark the mood the pieces reflect is not dark at all; it engages you perhaps because the skull seems to be smiling?
